A SMALL WAY TO MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE...
If you’re planning to come out to a show, grabbing a ticket in advance really does make a difference. Presales help venues and promoters get a sense of what the night’s going to look like, which in turn helps them take better care of the artists (that’s us and our friends on the bill).
For touring bands, those early ticket sales can be the difference between a “we’ll have them back” and a “maybe next time.” It helps us build in new cities, strengthens our relationships with venues, and keeps routes like this one possible.
Plus… one less thing to think about at the door 🙂
If you know you’re coming, locking in a ticket early is one of the simplest and most meaningful ways to support live music.

A NOTE FROM BARB…
I can’t contain my excitement!! For the first time in our nearly 14 years as a band, I’m bringing the Aint Sisters to my home state of Connecticut. I have roamed far and wide over the past 25 years, but Connecticut remains such an integral part of who I am. It represents parts of me that a lot of people don’t know. In Connecticut, I’m a graduate of The Gilbert School, I’m the kid from Carbon’s Farm Stand, I’m a soccer player, and I’m Aunt Barb.
Now, I get to introduce my Connecticut family to the part of me that they don’t necessarily know yet. On Tuesday, April 14, my band and I will be playing Cafe Nine in New Haven. To tie it all together with the perfect bow, we’re going to be sharing the evening with Lee-Ann Lovelace, who I grew up playing soccer with, and her incredible band.
I know that it’s a school night, and everybody’s not going to be able to make it, but I look forward to seeing some old familiar faces. Hopefully we will get a good crowd out for Tuesday and next time through we can shoot for a weekend date and have complete WaMoGo Regional School District No. 6, Gilbert, Rovers, Carbon family reunion.
GOOD THINGS COMING TO FRUITION IN NYC
Our NYC debut at Groove is getting a lift thanks to some beautiful musical threads — Kellen Asebroek, our buddy, brilliant songwriter, and member of the band Fruition (if you’re uninitiated, check them out, they are amazing!) will be stopping by to tickle the keys on a few of our tunes and hopefully he’ll sing us a song or two of his own. SWOON. This kind of cosmic convergence is born of the wider circle that connects us all through a top notch human named Jeff Michel. We are so grateful to have so many beautiful people in our world.
AINT CAMP UPDATE
There’s a real sense of movement happening behind the scenes right now. We’re not quite ready to spill everything, but we are ready to share this joyful news:
Our sweet friend and biggest supporter, Jeff Michel, has joined our management team at Omni Arts Group, making him official Aint family now — and it already feels like things are expanding in the best way.
What’s the best that could happen?
Speaking of which...
A NOTE FROM RICHIE...
Hey there friends,
Hope everyone is enjoying the cool spring weather…I know I certainly am. 😊
2026 has certainly started with lots of challenges, but I’m feeling pretty good overall. For those that don’t know, I found out that I have stage 3 prostate cancer. (Adenocarcinoma 3/A) As of March 12, I went in for surgery to have my prostate along with 18 lymph nodes removed. Even though we had all of that removed, we still have work to do. Beginning in April/May I’ll begin radiation therapy and hormone therapy to knock out any of the leftover cancer cells. It’s gonna slow me down a bit, but it won’t knock me out…as I’m in it to win it!
The good news is, I’ve been given the green light to tour with the band!! Woohoo!! That being said, I will be hittin the road with the Aint Sisters this weekend for a 10 day tour! I’ll be ready to go, so get your taints ready for some shakin!
